What we are witnesing today in Singur today is genocide for the state of West Bengal or the once 'shonar Bangla'
Sad but true, it is nowhere near where it was pre-indipendence. So although we sing the national anthem everyday at school after the assembly, Bengal has been benifited more from the british than our own politicians. What did S. Bose die for? Does his life mean anything to us? Means nothing to the politicians for sure who fill their pockets in the name of India.' Looters'
is the word for them. Neither is CPM bothered about industrialization nor is Ms. Bannerjee bothered about the farmers. All they care about is their own power and money.
Ms. Bannerjee is involved in the indefinate dharna (drama) by blocking the all important Durgapur expressway. Why is she not being jailed? If the CPM was a bit bothered about we the people they would have jailed her and the other protesters.
but, why would they care a about the law.
it is a political drama to be pricise and has got nothing to do with the actual good of the society.
I do not blame them for this. They exploit us because we let them do so. Recently I asked a few friends of what they thought of the Singur mess. Their answer shocked me. They said "dude, you have some lack in life or what. Why do care? Just enjoy life." Our problem is not that we form wrong opinions, the problem is that we do not form opinions at all!
In this article here, I have not mentioned any Singur specific matter.
that iz because I want to firstly know what you think of singur?
So drop in a response about what you think oc the singur issue. Then I will publish an article stating my views
